Made in Kroo Bay
Everything from the Skills Hub is designed and made by hand in Kroo Bay. Our first product lines, so tailored clothing and printed goods are coming into production now, starting with the orders we've already secured. Follow along or get in touch to be among the first to buy from the makers behind them.
Our Work
How the Model Works: Learn, Earn and Grow
The Skills Hub connects skills, production, and sales into a single cycle, so people do not just train, they earn while they learn and build toward independence.
Learn
Hands-on training in high-demand skills, taught through experienced trainers and real production rather than long classroom sessions. People start with simple products, repairs, and practical services.
Earn
Goods and services are sold inside and beyond the community, to households, schools, universities, and organisations, creating income from the work itself.
Grow
Skilled people who lack tools or space can rent affordable, fully equipped workspace at the Hub. Revenue from sales and workspace rental is reinvested into the Hub, funding more training, more production, and more opportunity.

Focus Areas
We are starting with two crafts that Kroo Bay already knows and values. In tailoring, trainees learn to make uniforms, everyday clothing, and custom pieces like dresses, building on skills that already run deep in the community. In printing, they create T-shirts, lab coats, and branded materials for schools, universities, and local organisations. Both are hands-on and rewarding, and they let people make things they can be proud of from their very first weeks. As the Hub grows, we want to open up more of what the community asks for, from catering and repairs to creative work like upcycling and tie-dye.
